La Chorrera Cloud Forest & Waterfall Hike - $90
Description: Journey with us through green mountain trails at 2600 m.a.s.l. as we discover a land filled with waterfalls, orchids and native medicinal plants. Make your way up to La Chorrera, one of the tallest waterfalls in the Andes mountains at 590 meters high!
Availability: During the month of June, July and August trails tend to sell out completely. Please email us or WhatsApp us to verify availability before you make your tour purchase ;)
Difficulty: This trail is of low difficulty with some steep, uneven and slippery surfaces so hiking boots are recommended. You can also bring a change of shoes & socks in case it rains. You must be in good physical condition to join.
Note: Upon request we are able to provide you with rain boots in most sizes free of charge.
Accessibility: Anybody between the ages of 7 to 70 years-old can join. We are happy to arrange a customized ride for you, should you have limited mobility or visual/hearing impairment.
Duration: The total tour time is 8 hours from start to finish with a 3 to 4 hours interpretative hike.
Departure: This tour departs from our meeting point at Movistar Arena (former Coliseo El Campin). We offer door to door pick-up & drop-off at an extra cost.

Elevation: Maximum hiking altittude 2600 m.a.s.l.
Weather: The average temperature is 16ºC with minimums of 12ºC when it is cloudy. About 30% of the time we visit here we experience light rain and about 10% of the time we see heavy rain.
Covid-19: Choachi has had low exposure to Covid-19 so the locals ask all visitors to follow safety protocols. We suggest wearing masks at all times inside the vehicle. We will disinfect our hands and shoes with alcohol at every stop.
