Cloud Forest & Waterfalls Half-Day Hike

Description: Only 45 minutes from the big city, you will find a hidden gem of unsurpassed natural scenery. This andean forest in Choachi has spectacular views, greenery and waterfalls to amaze all visitors alike.

Availability: This tour is available every day of the year except December 25th and January the 1st. We ask that during the months of July and August you email us or whatsApp us to verify availability before making your purchase ;)

Difficulty: This trail is of medium difficulty with some steep, uneven and slippery surfaces so hiking boots are recommended. Otherwise, you can bring a change of shoes in case it rains. You must be in good physical condition to join.
Note: With a minimum 48-hour request we are able to provide you with rain boots in most sizes free of charge.

Accessibility: Anybody between the ages of 7 to 75 years-old can join. We are happy to arrange a customized ride for you, should you have limited mobility or visual/hearing impairment.

Duration: The total tour time is 6 hours from start to finish with a 3 to 4 hour interpretative hike.

Departure: This tour departs from our meeting point at the Bogotá Marriott Hotel. We offer door to door pick-up & drop-off at an extra cost.

Elevation: Maximum hiking altittude 3250 m.a.s.l.

Weather: The average temperature is 15ºC with minimums of 10ºC when it's cloudy. About 30% of the time we visit here we experience light rain and about 10% of the time we see heavy rain. Wettest months are April, May, June, July, October & November.
